I have been a licensed realtor in Kansas and Missouri since 2000. My personal goal is to resurrect the dying art of customer service. I don’t want to just get the job done, I want to knock it out of the park. I form lasting relationships with my clients and even after we close the sale, I am available to answer questions and provide sound advice regarding real estate.
In Real Estate: Since moving to the Kansas City area in 1994, I have always lived in, and taken special interest in, the Central Corridor; especially the older homes of Prairie Village, Brookside, Westwood, Mission, Roeland Park, and Leawood. I have helped renovate over a dozen older homes in the past 15 years. Each home came with a new set of problems and by working through those issues, I’ve learned to spot some of the potential pitfalls before my clients waste their time and money on inspections. I work hard to find quality homes for my buyers and advise my sellers on repairs and/or updates that will yield higher results. I never shy away from a challenge and strive to make sure my clients have a smooth, informed, and successful transaction.
My first year in the business, I was nominated for Rookie of the year for the Central Corridor. I am a four time member of the “Million Dollar Club” for volume of sales closed in one month and average between five and six million in closed volume each year. I am licensed in both Kansas and Missouri and will soon be licensed in North Carolina. I served as the Secretary for the Romanelli Gardens HOA from 2000-2003. I was an active member of the Prairie Elementary PTA from 2005-2013 and I was privileged to be the room mom for my children's class rooms.
I grew up in the small town of Chanute, Kansas, but I have lived in Kansas City the majority of my adult life and affectionately call it home. I spend my free time with my family and enjoy a quiet life in Prairie Village. I love running, biking, and shopping, but most of all – cooking! When I”m not working or hanging out with my kids, you’ll find me whipping up some brownies or following along with the Food Network. I am the proud mom of two spunky whippets and am a huge animal lover.
Born and raised all over Kansas, I'm proud to boast the green, rolling hills of Eastern Kansas as home. My family hails from the factories of upstate New York and the homestead dairy farms of Franklin County, KS. My parents both became educators and worked as teachers, coaches, librarians, administrators and historic home renovators for 41 years before enjoying their much earned retirement. My passion for teaching and homes extends from our tight-knit family.
I moved to Kansas City in 2015 to pursue an active career in music education. I teach early childhood through eighth grade general music, band, and chorus and enjoy community musicianship as an oboist in the MidAmerica Freedom Band, and violinist in the Kansas City Social Symphony. For the past ten summers I've been blessed to offer music enrichment classes at Camp MITIOG, a summer camp for children living with Spina Bifida and neural tube birth defects. After purchasing my Roeland Park home, I joined the Hello KC Homes team and have never been more thrilled to return to my passion for homes, housing advocacy, and the home owner experience.
